Registration for classes will begin December 15, 2009.
Classes limited to those 18 years of age or older.
Certain class sizes limited.
Cancellations subject to $10 fee after first class, unless the class is canceled by CLC.
Classes will be canceled two days prior to starting date if minimum enrollment is not met.
Confirmations will be sent only to those who register online, if you do not receive a confirmation please call 266-0150.

You will practice the fundamentals and gain the knowledge to use your computer for many tasks. Instructor Angela Morris is a PSD teacher with lots of computer knowledge and teaching experience.

Learn the mystery behind all those tiny boxes! Excel is a program that enables you to work with numerical information in a wide variety of ways. Throw away your old ledger book and calculator and learn how to use Excel to perform calculations, analyze data, and create informative charts and graphs. Prerequisite: Computers for Beginners or a basic knowledge of the computer. Angela Morris is the instructor.

CO104 INTRODUCTION TO MICROSOFT PUBLISHER

Publisher Basics: including entering text, formatting page layouts and inserting graphics. The student will create, format and edit fliers, brochures and newsletters. This class is a must if you publish any type of newsletter. Instructor: Angela Morris. Prerequisite: Intro to Word (or knowledge thereof.)

CO105 BASIC WEB BUILDING

In Basic Web Building, students will have fun while learning how to build web pages and web sites utilizing HTML. Students begin by learning how to create simple web pages that include text, images, links, sounds, video, lists, and columns. They will then build on that knowledge to create more sophisticated and professional looking web sites that utilize tables, image maps, frames, style sheets, and layering. They will learn how to choose a web server, register their website with search engines and upload their content to the World Wide Web. In Basic Web Building, students learn how to build professional or personal web sites from the ground up. Please bring a USB Flash Disk if you'd like to save files worked on in class (not required but helpful). This is a fun and interactive class for all! Matt Way is a computer tech site manager PSD. He has taught classes and done private computer tutoring. (Basic computer knowledge is a prerequisite for this class.)
