 Registration for classes will begin December 15, 2009.
Classes limited to those 18 years of age or older.
Certain class sizes limited.
Cancellations subject to $10 fee after first class, unless the class is canceled by CLC.
Classes will be canceled two days prior to starting date if minimum enrollment is not met.

SP105 FRENCH I BEGINNING

Bonjour et Bienvenue a la classe de francaise! Want to learn how to speak French? Well this is the place to do it. In this class you will learn the basics of conversational French language including grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary through listening, imitation and repetition. Discussions will include French culture, music, and food! Instructor Nicole Harry began learning French at the age of 7 through academic immersion. She has studied abroad and at the university level.
Thurs. Feb.4 - April 15 (no class week of March 15)

SP110 SPANISH I - BEGINNING

Learn Spanish using creative methods that foster a non-threatening classroom environment. Designed for beginners, these classes will build everyday conversational vocabulary and skills. Topics include: alphabet, numbers, pronunciation, adjectives, present tense regular verbs, basic sentence formation and vocabulary. We will move slowly with lots of repetition. Instructor April Rogers is a licensed Spanish teacher.

SP111 SPANISH II - ADVANCED BEGINNING
$165.00
This class continues where Spanish I leaves off. It assumes the students' only introduction and experience with Spanish is the beginning I class (10 weeks of Spanish). The focus of the class will be on conjugation of irregular present tense verbs and review of the ar/er/ir present tense verbs. Instructor April Rogers is a licensed Spanish teacher and taught Spanish 1 at Preston this past spring.
THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO LACK OF REGISTRATIONS. SPANISH 2 IS STILL BEING OFFERED AT BLEVINS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS.
