Classes limited to those 18 years of age or older.
Certain class sizes limited.
Cancellations subject to $10 fee after first class, unless the class is canceled by CLC.
Classes will be canceled two days prior to starting date if minimum enrollment is not met.

SI100 PHOTOGRAPHY FOR THE NOVICE
$55.00
Afraid of your equipment? Learn how to use your digital SLR or manual 35mm camera to achieve better pictures. Included is a guided tour of buttons and dials. This class is for those who have had no formal instruction in picture taking. You will learn fundamentals such as the significance of shutter speeds, the effect of aperture on exposure, depth of field, flash use, composition and more. Weekly assignments will allow for presentation and feedback. (Please bring your 35 mm or digital SLR camera to the first class). Stephanie Garner has taught photography classes to adults for over fifteen years.

SI101 GUITAR FOR BEGINNERS
$40.00
This class is geared towards the absolute beginner and will start with the basics. We will learn how to tune the guitar, play basic chords and accompaniment patterns in a fun, relaxed group setting. Instructor Mike Tolle is a local guitar instructor and musician with 15 years of teaching experience. He enjoys teaching as much as he does performing. Students are to furnish their own guitar. (There is a five-dollar fee for class materials that will be collected the first night of class).

SI102 INTERMEDIATE GUITAR

This class is a continuation of beginning guitar and is open to anyone wanting to improve his or her basic skills. Topics covered will include song structure, chord transitions, strum patterns, fingerpicking and tablature reading. Mike Tolle is the instructor. (There is a $5 fee for class materials that will be collected the first night of class).

SI103 FLY FISHING

Come learn all there is to know about fly fishing. Jason Nurton will be your fishing guide in this class. He will teach the following areas about knots, gear choice, fly choice, reading a river, basic entemology, and basic fly tying.
